Catch Up..Start date, slab, frame and now BRICKS!!

Well i have been a little slack of late haven't i. Hopefully this will bring things up to date although quite a bit has happened. After receiving a Building Variation to move our start date to the 31st January you could say that we were less than impressed mainly due to the fact that we could possibly loose the FHBG if they didn't start by the 20th Jan and we had met all the conditions needed to start by 30th Nov. We voiced our disatisfaction and much to our suprise we had movement by 10th Jan right after Xmas shutdown. The slab was completed by 14th Jan! YAY! Who would think a slab could be so exciting. The next day we had signage and yes i was as equally excited about that. The frame work commenced 21st Jan and boy what a job they did enduring 40 degree temps and rain they completed the frame by 26th Jan. Window and Glass sliding doors went in on the 28th Jan. bricks were delivered Monday 1st Feb and bricklayers commenced bricking on 2nd Feb and have done a wonderful job enduring terrible weather since coming on site. So after one small hiccup as you can see Eden Brae together with our contractors and site manager are really moving things along much to our delight.
